I work in watercolour and pastel and have been painting for 8 years under the tutelage of Nell Frysteen. I have travelled to New Zealand and completed two workshops with Susan Harrison-Tustain, a renowned Watercolour Artist based in Tauranga N.Z.. I have also been tutored by David Taylor, Joe Attard and participated in a portrait class and Still Life study with Grace Paleg. I have been a member of the Nell Street Painters (no affiliation to Nell Frysteen) for the last 8 years and have exhibited with them many times over that period. I was President of the Diamond Valley Arts Society for 3 years and in that time held the positions of Secretary and Show Convenor organising many shows and events. I am a member of both AGRA, (Australian Guild of Realist Artist) and the Pastel Society of Victoria. I have works in private collections in Hong Kong, Germany and the Arjo Wiggins Paper Group Head Office in Strasbourg France I teach watercolour classes at the Ringwood Community Centre. EXHIBITIONS. The Nell Street Painters hold an annual Art Exhibition at the Box Hill Community Centre involving all members. In 2009 The Nell Street Painters exhibited at The Victorian Artists Society with an exhibition called “Twelve in Three” in 2009. In that exhibition I displayed 12 pieces of work on Still Life and Flowers selling three pieces and gaining recognition from the Society for my work in watercolour. The 2009 Eltham Library exhibition “Let me paint you a story” was held in conjunction with the Warrandyte writers guild, publishing a book of all our work which is now held in libraries in Eltham and Canberra.
