The Nell Street Painters were asked to paint and donate one of their 'group paintings' to the 2008 auction by the charity 'Life Goes On'. www.lifegoeson.org.au

This free of charge counselling service offers strategies and choices for the seriously ill and for those who care for them to help them get more out of life despite their illness or loss. All Life Goes On counsellors have either faced death or cared for someone who did and are highly trained, and have a level of empathy, experience and understanding that will be of genuine help.

We chose this particular subject as we felt that 'Life Goes On' represented hope and the enjoying life.
