The Nell Street Painters first group painting 'Sweet As' was completed for our 2008 group exhibition at Box Hill Community Art Centre and was then donated to 'Taralye'. We chose 'Taralye' as Leilani's young son Hamish had recently been born with a hearing impairment ane their family was being well supported by this organisation.

Taralye is not for profit oral language centre for deaf children. It is Victoria's leading oral language centre, providing services to deaf and hearing impaired children and their families throughout the State. www.taralye.vic.edu.au
