My journey began with a course of water colour and pencil sketches in my teenage years in China. Later, I moved to Australia and completed a 2 year diploma in the art of Floristry. In 2004, I graduated from RMIT with a diploma of Art, which sparked a deeper passion and appreciation for the Arts.

I further strive to develop my skills in pastels with the guidance of Nell Frysteen. She has helped me understand the advantages of using colours, shades and texture to express emotion and mood through the images created by pastels. I hope these images will find their way into the viewer’s heart and have a lasting impact reminding us how beautiful life can be.
